Spanish Railway News is a VIA LIBRE digital publication that will periodically present the new technologies and innovations in the Spanish railway as well as the latest news about its operators, managers and the railway sector.
The first printed issue of VIA LIBRE, a monthly journal which acts as a point of reference for the railway sector in Spain, was published in January 1964 and the digital version can be found on the Web since 2000. An online newsletter with more than 6,000 subscribers has been published daily since January 2008 and now it becomes internationalized.
VIA LIBRE is a publication by the Spanish Railway Foundation, whose board of trustees is made up of the Ministry of Public Works, Adif, Renfe, all regional railway transport operators, metros, light rail and trams as well as infrastructure and railway equipment supplying companies in Spain.
