He has over 35 years of airport planning and design experience. Peter has worked on a wide variety of airport projects spanning six continents. He has been involved in the site selection, strategic planning, masterplanning and development of a number of new greenfield airports like Pemberton/Whistler, San Diego, Chicago (South Suburban), Albian Sands, the Louisiana Transportation Centre and for a new city in Saudi Arabia. As well, he has participated in the development of Master Plans and Land Use Plans for diverse airports such as Guarulhos (Sao Paolo), Brasilia (Brazil), Rome (Viterbo), Moscow (Vnukovo), Montego Bay (Jamaica), Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt), Lima (Peru), Hong Kong, CBX/Tijuana, Kamloops, Kelowna and Pemberton in British Columbia.
In addition, he has contributed to terminal planning and concept development projects for Guam, Larnaka and Paphos (Cyprus), Montego Bay, Sharm el Sheikh, Montevideo (Uruguay), Vancouver, Providenciales (Turks and Caicos), Muscat (Oman), Comox, among others. Additionally, he has led a variety of airside planning and development studies for airports like Prince George, Kamloops, Cranbrook, Powell River, Pitt Meadows, Las Americas and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic and Vancouver.
He has been a team member in due diligence exercises at Chicago (Midway), London City, Sydney, Saint Maarten and Curacao in the Caribbean as well as Moncton, Port Hardy and Kamloops in Canada, with a primary focus on private sector investment in these airports, among others. Finally, he has been involved in numerous projects involving airstrips serving a variety of new mine sites/ expanded operations at existing sites, including site selection for the airstrips and expansion plans for existing airstrips.
